The first issue that we are going to talk about is an infection. For the most part, an infection in the knee usually will not have a lot of symptoms. Pain and swelling are two of the symptoms that you may be able to see. A blood sample will be done to see if you have an infection.

An oversizing or an overhang is when the replacement rubs against the soft tissues. This will cause some pain and tightness that can be felt. If there are severe issues in this area, you may need to be operated on.

The last thing that we will talk about is internal scar formation. This is when the knee replacement has caused scarring inside the knee. This can be seen through pain but also a feeling of tightness in the knee.

If you get a knee replacement, look out for these three things.
